Southern MS Motorcycle Training

Thank you for choosing Southern MS Motorcycle Training (SMMT) for your motorcycle training needs. The primary goal of the Basic Rider Course(s) is to provide an introduction to the fundamentals of being a safe and responsible motorcycle rider.

BRC classroom portion are held on Friday night from 4-8 p.m. Riding will start on Saturday from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. Students must provide their own riding gear which consists of a DOT certified helmet, full fingered gloves, boots or suitable footwear that covers your ankle, sturdy pants, long sleeves shirt or jacket and eye protection. Rain gear is optional but we ride in rain if not a safety factor. Class is conducted once a week if we have three or more applicants. Motorcycles will be provided for each student.
